the beatles - magical mystery tour
this is a “newer” Beatles album for myself… during my childhood i spent a lot of time with Revolver and Sgt. Pepper which are from a similar “era” of their sound. i’ve always known this album to be the pinnacle of their psychedelic phase.
it is such a journey to listen to. the musicality and lyricism is brilliant, and it’s a bit whacky! which we can all learn to love.
it’s home to a lot of classics that you may already know… but hearing them in the context and full scope of the album is really special.
i’m no expert at writing “reviews”… but i really do highly recommend you spend some time with this album yourself! check it ouuuuuuttttt
