skylight collective arts club
skylight collective arts club is a creative vessel to get more humans making more things.
whether you consider yourself an artist or not, having a consistent creative outlet is invaluable;
if it is to refine your artistic skills,
articulate your perspective in a different way,
or simply allow yourself the space to play and find freedom.
skylight collective arts club is a space for connection.
art is communication.
better yet, it reminds us of our humanity;
there is beauty in sharing our perspectives; to resonate with one another
and expand outside of our interior worlds.
beyond that, something magical happens when we collaborate.
how does it work?
the hardest part about any creative endeavour is starting;
the second hardest… finishing.
the arts club sends out monthly emails offering two things:
1. a catalyst for creation.
2. a deadline.
(and, of course, lots of support along the way!)
art must be shared. period.

no matter how “finished” or “perfect” or “complete” the works may be; the point is not to reach a state of perfection (which is impossible, by the way), but simply to find satisfaction within the process, and to create for the sake of creating.
