super sexy banana bread
you heard me. this banana bread is sexy.
it’s a combination of a few found recipes… and it’s got all the good stuff (to my own taste lol)… sour cream (ya! weird i know, but good!!), choco chips, walnuts, and a niiiiice lil crumble on top.
let’s goooooo !
HOW TO MAKE IT
*preheat your oven to 325 F.
to begin, melt 1/2 cup of butter.
while it melts, take 2 bananas and mash em up real good in a large bowl.
to the bowl, add in a 1/2 cup of maple syrup and a 1/2 cup of yogurt, crack in 2 good eggs, and top it off with 1 tbsp of vanilla.
mix them all together. when your butter is all melted (and maybe cooled a bit), mix it in, too!
once your mixture is well combined, measure 2 cups of flour into the bowl. also add in 1 1/2 tsps of cinnamon, 1 tsp of baking soda and 1/2 tsp baking powder. if you butter was unsalted, get some salt in there too!
mix it all up, until it’s nice and consistent! when the batter looks pretty well incorporated, dump in 1/2 cup each of chocolate chips and walnuts.
pour your batter into a loaf pan. sprinkle 1 tbsp of sugar and 1/3 cup of walnuts over the top for a niiiice crumble!
pop that sucker in the oven for about an hour. check up on it regularly, and bake it till it’s done! you’ll be able to tell with a classic “fork test” ;-)
