off the rails
“strictly speaking,

on
track”

i have a hard time getting myself to wear any jewelry other than my hoops, (which, by the way, are a staple!! mine are the bold hoops from mejuri & honestly such a valuable investment!)… but i find any time that i do make the tiny bit of extra effort it takes to accessorize, the look is just that much better!

according to my mom, layering has been my trademark since i began dressing myself… i have some pretty embarrassing evidence of that…
recently, i’ve been really loving to play around with layering different types of button-ups (button-ups have really been the game for me this season!!!)
here, i paired an old, thrifted collared shirt over top a hand-me down t-shirt cardigan.
i love changing up how i style the clothes that i’ve had for a while - it really gives them new life & saves a lot of money when you can’t afford a new wardrobe every few months!

after only one year of having them, my doc martens have been nothing but very very good to me. if you have ever debated buying yourself a pair, THIS IS A SIGN! again, it’s another investment, but they have been “in” for a long, long time now… and they will last you a long, long time! what is there to lose?
i’d also like to say - as this picture so clearly points out - cuffing your jeans & sleeves is essential!!!!! another small detail that is so simple but really takes a look to the next level if you care to do it!
and, i mean, it goes without saying that toques are a true autumn staple - especially as the weather gets colder! just like layering, it is a fun way to spice up a look and it will keep you warm!
