dressing monochromatically is one of the eaaaaasiest ways to create a unique and interesting look. as long as you have a few similarly-coloured clothing items, you are golden!

i thrifted both of these items a while ago, and unfortunately, don’t wear either of them as much as i should! i especially love this chiffon button-up; the way it drapes and fits is a dream and the pattern is so eye-catching.

one of my favourite ways to style my short hair has been with cute lil clips! i got this mixed set of gold clips from the dollar store, of all places.

i decided to match the gold clips with these funky vintage earrings i scored from value village a while back. i think the simple gold accessories add a nice flavour to the look without going overboard.

i need to take a moment to mention how much of a staple my white sneakers are. i’m probably due for a new pair very soon… these are pretty gross but it attests to just how i wear them!
these are the nike air max 1, with gum soles. when i bought them, i did that hack where you get cheaper shoes by buying the kids size… i got the biggest size (and am usually an 8.5/9) and they just fit… maybe even a bit too tight but i broke them in a fair bit!
white sneakers go with e v e r y t h i n g. they don’t “weigh down” a fit, and are just so easy to throw on knowing that you’ll look cute and your feet won’t hurt! what a win-win!!
